Introducing the New CWA Events Manager

Emily Moore CWA Events ManagerHi, I'm Emily! Originally from New Hampshire, I got my professional start in Washington, DC managing digital products and communications for nonprofit, federal and private sector clients. I moved to Boulder in 2015 for lifestyle reasons, and landed a position developing experiential marketing programs for adidas. My main role at the CWA is organizing the CWA Summit, but the outlook is to continue growing the CWA events program. Stay tuned for more information about regional events!


I am most inspired when the people I work with are passionate – and not just about their jobs, but in a more holistic sense. And the climbing industry is a relatively small but passionate community with values that are important to me: we work hard, we strive for perfection, but at the same time, we don’t take ourselves too seriously. As the CWA’s new Events Manager, I’m thrilled to be convening the conversations and training that strengthen this industry and help create valuable partnerships in our community.


I love all forms of climbing, and right now am learning how to lead on trad gear. Aside from climbing, I’m big on skiing, trail running, cooking, playing piano, and learning languages.
